Memorial Day weekend’s just ahead, with stormy weather expected in the Midwest and East. But Memorial Day itself should be mostly dry: so if you’re heating up the barbeque, you might also break out your camera or smartphone to help our friends with a science project.

It’s a Field Photo Weekend for our partners at ‪#‎CoCoRahs. What they want is super easy – you take four pictures, one each facing north, south, east and west of your landscape: water bodies, fields, forests, or any other conditions around you. The pictures will help scientists observe gradual and sudden change to the environment; you can email them in, or upload them to the team directly.
